Ian is the founder and head stylist at So Curl Hair. Curls are Ian’s passion, and every curl experience is unique. Ian has studied with the top curl educators, including Rezo and Deva Curl, and utilizes his immense curl knowledge and experience to create custom curly styles for his clients.

Ian offers Curly Cuts for all curl/wave patters, along with custom color services.

Kati obtained her credential at Paul Mitchell the School, then continued her education as assistant to elite stylist Travis Parker. Since then, she has been catering to clientele in La Jolla, and has most recently decided to offer her services in North County, closer to her home and family.

With 17 years of behind-the chair-experience, Kati's skill set as a stylist is well-rounded, but she particularly enjoys creating dimensional color and executing long, layered cuts. Kati has also developed a passion for curly haircuts while training under Ian Skolnik, a renowned specialist in curly hair.

Kati sees every cut or color as an opportunity to uplift. Her goal is to make sure that every client leaves her chair feeling like the best version of themselves.  Kati is currently offering traditional cut and color services for all ages, curly styling and blow-dry services, along with specialty Youth Curly Cuts for clients ages 5-12 years old.

Alexia Moiseeva began her beauty career in Seattle, Washington, and later moved to the Bay Area, to continue her education. Alexia recently found her new home here in Carlsbad. With 7 years of experience behind the chair, Alexia is an expert in Blonding and Precision haircutting, adn works with all hair types. Blond is her passion, Alexia enjoys doing everything from classic highlights to complex color techniques, such as Balayage and Air Touch. Her main focus in working with clients is establishing long-lasting connections and trust to take care of the appearance and health of their hair. Alexia regularly completes continuing education classes, including Blonding Masterclasses and Vidal Sassoon training in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
